I’m running for Kent City Council!

Thank you for stopping by. I am running for Kent City Council Position 6 because I believe Kent deserves leadership rooted in service, equity, and real connection to the people who live and work here. As a mental health professional, educator, small business owner, and school board director, I have spent my life advocating for stronger communities, especially for those too often left out of policy decisions.

This campaign is about listening, building trust, and working together to make Kent a safer, more inclusive, and more sustainable place for everyone. Take a look around, learn more about the issues that matter, and let us reimagine what local leadership can look like together.

I’m a behavioral health counselor, college professor, and small business owner with a background in behavioral health, disability advocacy, and public education. I oversee a community-based counseling and ABA agency and teach in the Human Services program at Tacoma Community College and Colorado State University. I also serve as a Kent school board director, where I’ve worked to expand access, improve equity, and advocate for student and family needs. My experience combines direct service, policy work, and financial leadership, all rooted in community care and accountability.
